Dunlap, Scott listed as probable

It looks like defensive end Carlos Dunlap and running back Bernard Scott will see their first action of the 2012 regular season this week in Washington.

Bengals.com’s Geoff Hobson tweets that the duo is listed as probable on Friday’s injury report. They are joined by cornerback Jason Allen, a free agent pick-up who could make his Bengals debut Sunday.

Dunlap hasn’t played since suffering a knee injury in the preseason opener but is certainly an impact player after racking up 14 sacks in two seasons with the club. Scott, who has been recovering from a broken hand, will provide a change-of-pace in the Bengals backfield.

Allen’s return may prove to be the most important with Leon Hall missing practice time with a sore calf. Hall is listed as questionable.
