Palmer Was Fed Up with the Way the Bengals Handled Things

Bengals pro bowl quarterback Carson Palmer is vowing to walk away from $46 million rather than work another day in owner Mike Brown’s prison stripes.

“Carson just finally got fed up,” says a close friend of Palmer. “He’s just sick of the same 5,000 mistakes the franchise repeats every year. He’s tired of wallowing in mediocrity. He won’t ever talk about it, but that’s how he feels. He’s a very tolerant guy, but when he gets pushed over the line, he gets mad and doesn’t go back. He’d love to play, he’s dying to play, but he’s never going to play there.”

Palmer has four years left on his nine-year, $118 million deal. “He gave his word. … He’s going to walk away from his commitment. We aren’t going to reward him for doing it,” Brown said. Palmer has left large portions of his body on the field for Brown.

His nasty ACL and MCL tear in a 2006 playoff game, his ripped elbow in ’08. He’s worked alongside fools and pretenders, and all under an owner who could make the ’72 Dolphins mediocre, and he’s done it all without a single discouraging word about an owner who invented discouragement.

I don’t blame Palmer, We will never have professional football in Cincinnati as long as Mike Brown owns the team. He’ll never give it up as long as fools keep buying tickets and he keeps making deposits to his bank account.

Palmer was suppose to be the face of the franchise but “GM” Mike BrowN has done a horrible job of putting an o-line to protect him. Instead of re-signing LG Eric Steinbach, he chose to give an over the hill Willie Anderson an extension while also giving a new contracT to Levi Joned whose knees were shot. Instead of taking 2 number1 draft pics for Ocho, Brown decides to keep him and Chad was never elite again. HAS NO CLUE HOW TO PUT A FOOTBALL TEAM TOGETHER.

I love the Cincinnati Bengals but they’ve been given over to a football imbecile. After seeing another offseason of stupid moves including the Palmer situation I’ve decided to cheer against Mike Brown. I want the Bengals to lose every game by large margins. I will not buy a ticket or anything with a bengals logo or support any official Bengals sponsors. WHO DEY: answer – Mike Brown

Palmer has given his best years to Brown, who in return has given Palmer and the good people of Cincinnati nothing.

    Love Carson…..and Chad

    Brown’s an ASSWIPE
