[...] Important match-up in the AFC North. Cincinnati boasts one of the more dominant defensive lines and rookie QB Andy Dalton continues to impress. Rookie receiver A.J. Green is an explosive receiver and a legitimate threat. The Bengals had a major set-back to their secondary as corner Leon Hall is out for the season with an Achilles tear injury.
This is a pivotal game for a young Bongols team. Last week Seattle laid the groundwork to show how to beat the Ravens. The Bongols need to focus on their running game and give Benson and Scott atleast 30 carries. This will open up the play action for AJ Green and Jerome Simpson. The Bongols need to blitz Flacco often and in different packages. Lastly the Bongols are going to need to win the turnover battle and win with field position. This is a game the Bongols need to win to prove to the NFL that they can hang with the big boys. It is one thing to play tough and catch a few breaks against the Steelers, it is another thing to Win against a playoff caliber team, especially on the road. Dalton is going to need to be on his game to win this one.

Palmer showed why he was expendable this off-season. He threw three Interceptions in just over a half of football and looked lost in the Raiders' west coast offense. He will get better, but he is obviously not the pro bowl qb he was once.
