Bengals Add Veteran Free Agent Guard John Jerry

The Bengals added experience on the offensive line with roster moves made on Monday, Fletcher Page of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

The team signed free agent John Jerry, a ninth-year guard and former third-round pick that has appeared in 121 career games for the Dolphins and Giants. Jerry did not play for a team last season.

The Bengals waived Rod Taylor, the 2018 seventh-round draft pick that spent all of last season on injured reserve after suffering a knee injury in training camp.

The moves add to an offseason full of movement at offensive guard. The Bengals signed free agent John Miller to compete for the starting right guard spot and have worked former starting tackle Cordy Glenn at left guard while former starter Clint Boling has not participated in team drills during OTAs.
