Bengals RT Cedric Ogbuehi Has Toe Injury; Could Miss 2-3 Weeks

Cedric Ogbuehi

An already wounded Bengals offense suffered another blow as a league source confirmed to Jim Owczarski of the Cincinnati Enquirer that starting right tackle Cedric Ogbuehi suffered a toe injury, which is expected to keep him off the field for two to three weeks.

The second-year tackle joins tight ends Tyler Eifert (ankle) and Tyler Kroft (knee) as players who are trying to recover from injuries in time to open the season at the New York Jets on Sept. 11.

Ogbuehi was in good spirits after playing 39 snaps against the Minnesota Vikings in the Bengals’ preseason opener on Friday, a total that tied for a team-high on offense.

“I thought it went well. I felt good,” Ogbuehi said after the game. “I think I played well. Of course there are things here and there you can fix, but I think overall it was a pretty good performance.”

It is unclear when he suffered the injury.
