Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton was back in the locker room on Thursday morning and said he is ready to practice today according to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer. Dalton missed yesterday due to a bout of the flu.
“I feel great. It was a tough day yesterday, but I feel a lot better than I did. I’ll be out there practicing and be ready to go,” Dalton said. “It was just a one-day thing. It was kind of out of nowhere. But I feel good now, so that’s a good thing.”
Even though Dalton did miss a day, the one slight advantage is that the Bengals did face Houston four weeks ago. Dalton also did say that he was at the stadium yesterday and did what the trainers told him to do, which was a visit to the hospital.
“I’ve watched the film and I know what’s going on,” he said. “Obviously I would’ve liked to have practiced yesterday, but it didn’t happen. I’ll go out there today.”
