Bengals LB Rivers will not be activated from PUP this week

Bengals linebacker Keith Rivers (wrist) will not be activated from the PUP list this week.

The USC product “looks to need more time,” according to Bengals.com’s Geoff Hobson.

Thomas Howard has played admirably in place of the former Trojan at weak-side linebacker in Mike Zimmer’s defense.

Moch update: As for rookie linebacker Dontay Moch, he could be active for this week’s contest in Seattle.

The super-athletic pass rusher was drafted with the second pick in the third round from Nevada.

Keep in mind, the Bengals could also get back starting middle linebacker Ray Maualuga (ankle), who was inactive Week 6 against Indy.
