Bengals Will Look at the Chance to Find a Veteran QB

Given the fact that Carson Palmer no longer wants to play for them and second-round draft pick Andy Dalton is an unproven rookie, the Cincinnati Bengals are expected to be in the market for a veteran quarterback.

“We really have no one that’s taken a real NFL snap,” Bengals quarterbacks coach Ken Zampese told the Cincinnati Enquirer. “It’s prudent to look into that area if that person is the right fit for us.” Among the potential free agent candidates mentioned: Rex Grossman, Jim Sorgi, Charlie Frye and J.T. O’Sullivan. The Bengals also have Jordan Palmer, Carson’s brother, on the roster.
