One of the major themes covered in last year’s Hard Knocks series was Chad Ochocinco’s fascination with social media like Twitter, U-stream, and Facebook.
Fans may remember DT Tank Johnson calling Chad, “The fourth largest media market in the country,” and the dismay he showed when Coach Marvin Lewis notified the team of the NFL’s new policy banning the use of such media in the locker room or on sidelines.
Chad emotionally closed his laptop, likening it to, “losing my Johnson.”
Apparently the Ocho tweeted during the 3rd quarter of tonight’s 22-9 win over the Eagles after he had left the game for good. The tweet was related to a vicious hit he took that led to an interception.
The tweet came in at 9:53 PM and read: “Man Im sick of getting hit like that , its the damn preseason shit! 1day I’m gone jump up and start throwing hay makers , #Tylenolplease.”
Of course, both he and his wonder-twin compadre T.O. were having a jolly good time all night, on the football field and off, so he may have been getting caught up in the moment. Their halftime interviewing of each other had its moments, and they even managed to win over Tony Siragusa with their sideline antics. The Goose had to admit they are pretty funny.
Somehow I don’t think Lewis or Commissioner Goodell will necessarily find the humor.
