Ghee Signed

Multiple sources confirm that Bengals 3rd round pick, Wake Forest CB Brandon Ghee has agreed to terms on a contract.  Ghee becomes the fifth draft pick to sign, leaving four to go including first-round TE Jermaine Gresham.

Ghee’s contract will be for four years.

PFT points out what may be a little known fact to some:  Ghee was the last player on-hand at Radio City Music Hall on draft day to hear his name called.

They also point out that he’ll have to work hard to earn playing time behind the team’s top-notch combo of Jonathan Joseph and Leon Hall, especially with last year’s nickel back Morgan Trent, 2008’s nickel back David Jones, and the newly acquired Adam “Pacman” Jones all solid players.

The players report to camp on Wednesday, so the team has exactly five days to get everyone in on time.
