The reality show, similar to ABC’s The Bachelor, follows Chad over the next several weeks as he pares a field of 85 women down to one winner. According to a report on Cincinnati.com,VH1 will run a new episode every Sunday night from tonight until the Bengals’ season opener on September 12th.
Per the report, Chad will introduce the women in the competition, who enter the Pasadena Rose Bowl for a dating mini-camp. Chad says upon seeing the women, “I haven’t seen this many girls on a field since the last time we played the Steelers.” Classic.
I might watch the show just to see that, although I’m sure the 85 women selected for the field won’t be too hard on the eyes.
Chad has quickly built quite a franchise for himself. His OCNN (or Ocho Cinco News Network) includes thousands of followers on Twitter, Facebook, and U-stream. In addition, Chad’s been seen recently in:
- Degree Anti-perspirant and Reebok shoe commercials
- A Monica R&B video
- HBO’s Hard Knocks
- ABC’s Dancing With The Stars
In addition, Chad’s launched apps for iPhone and iPad and now offers personalized merchandise on his website.
We here at the Gab congratulate Chad on his fledgling multi-media empire, and wish him the best on his latest show.
…as long as he comes ready to play at training camp. Of course, he says he will.
