The Bengals reported today that they’ve reached agreement with fifth-round pick offensive guard Otis Hudson. Terms were not disclosed.
Hudson is the heir apparent to right guard Bobbie Williams after a long career that began at the University of Minnesota and finished at Eastern Illinois. At 6-2 and 320 pounds, Hudson brings good size and athleticism. A nice article on the young man’s journey can be found here.
The signing gets 2 of the team’s 9 picks in the fold (6th-round WR Dez Briscoe signed on June 29th).
They have 22 days to get the remaining seven under contract before training camp’s first practice.
