Dhani tackles soccer in South Africa next

South Africa looks like the very definition of paradise. The country, on the southern tip of Africa, has a long complicated history, but is just now beginning to find it’s feet. Dhani could have gone anywhere in the world to learn soccer. However, since 2010 is such an important year for soccer, and South Africa, the choice was obvious.
During the dark days of apartheid, political prisoners had only one thing to look forward to: the days when they were allowed to go into the prison yard and play soccer. You have to understand the emotional connection to the game to truly be able to understand what soccer means to the country of South Africa.
Soccer is called “The Beautiful Game,” but this doesn’t speak to the fact that each player needs an incredible amount of stamina. It is a very different sport than Dhani is used, and requires a different type of fitness. Dhani is definitely going to have to put in his 110% to keep up with his team.
