WR Purify arrested for disorderly conduct

The National Football Post reports that WR Maurice Purify was arrested earlier today for disorderly conduct:

Cincinnati Bengals reserve wide receiver Maurice Purify was arrested for disorderly conduct early this morning following an incident at a bar. According to WLWT-TV, police officers were called to break up a fight and requested that several people vacate the premises.

Per the report, an officer saw Purify fighting. Purify was on the practice squad for the majority of last season. The former Nebraska criminal justice major found trouble in college, too. He was once charged with assault and resisting arrest as well as a driving under the influence charge.

The Bengals have done a much better job of avoiding off-field problems for the most part in recent years.
