Bengals Sign Two CFA’s

According to separate sources, the Bengals signed two of the 25 players they had in for try outs last week in Punter Jake Richardson (Miami University) and RB LaMarcus Coker (Hampton University).

Richardson showed an impressive if inconsistent leg during the tryouts according to Hobson.  The Redhawk will have his work cut out for him in unseating another hometown hero in incumbent Kevin Huber.

Coker began his college career as a Volunteer at Tennessee, but was booted off the team after four failed drug tests.  (Sigh–queue the tired jokes).  Joe Reedy at the Enquirer was good enough to share this linked article on Coker’s struggles and his road to recovery.

Here’s some vid on Coker…

Looks like this year’s Marlon Lucky, but who knows?
