Lewis Says Bengals Won’t Lay Down To The Jets

Coach Marvin Lewis scoffed the notion that his playoff-certain team might roll over in Sunday’s season finale against the Jets. “Laydown? Child please!!” Lewis told Yahoo Sports in a text message. Steelers LB LaMarr Woodley said he expected the Bengals and Patriots, with their playoff spots clinched, might give less-than-100% effort this weekend. But Lewis said he doesn’t believe he should — or can — allow his team to let up for a week. Said the coach, via Yahoo: “We’re going to go win the football game.”

    Really?
I hope that is their excuse for this performance. If not, Marvin has the boys all ready for an ass kicking next week. He looks as lost on the sideline as his team does on the field. BTW when is Carson scheduled for his elbow surgery?
