Bengals Receive 48-Hour Extension To Avoid Local Blackout

For the fifth time this season, the NFL has given the Bengals an extension to sellout the stadium. In part because of Christmas, the club has until 1 p.m. Saturday to sell out Sunday’s 1 p.m. home regular-season finale against the Chiefs so it will be televised locally. If this season’s trend continues, what amounts to a 48-hour extension will be followed by the club’s 52nd straight sellout and sixth straight sold-out season.
