The Cincy Enquirer says that while Carson Palmer is getting better, he’s still not totally ready to go:

The good news was that Bengals QB Carson Palmer donned a jersey for Sunday’s practice. The bad news – he was still on a side field while the rest of the team went through drills. Palmer appeared to be running better and did a lot more on-field work during the two-hour practice. He also did some dropping back, if only at half speed which leaves his status for Thursday’s game against Indianapolis the same – questionable. “Today is the most I’ve done and we’ll see tomorrow where I am at,” Palmer said. “We’ll just have to see where I am physically.”
