Pro Football Weekly reports that the Bengals have released RB Kenny Watson and FB J.D. Runnels:
The Bengals released reserves RB Kenny Watson and FB J.D. Runnels Jr. on Monday.
Watson, 31, spent six seasons with the Bengals as a backup. His best season was in 2007, when he rushed for 763 yards and seven TDs and made five starts. He was limited to 10 games in ’08 with a hamstring injury.
Runnels Jr., who spent part of last season on Cincinnati’s practice squad, appeared in two NFL games for Chicago in 2006.
