With camp closing in, the Bengals today inked another draft choice, coming to terms with fourth-round pick Jonathan Luigs. Pro Football Weekly reports on the signing:

The Bengals signed C Jonathan Luigs, a fourth-round pick from Arkansas, on Tuesday. The club also waived reserve CB Simeon Castille.

Luigs, who started all 49 games in his collegiate career, will compete to back up starter Kyle Cook. Pro Football Weekly ’s 2009 Draft Preview described Luigs as “very smart, assignment (sound) and technically proficient” but noted that he “does not play strong or physically.”

Luigs’ signing leaves only four Bengals draft picks without contracts.

Castille, a second-year player from Alabama, played eight games last season, notching seven tackles.
