Henry Says Thoughts of His Family Has His Career on the Right Track

The Bengals are counting heavily on Chris Henry this season, and with that comes the fear that he’ll once again fall into trouble. Henry though has had it “so far so good” in his latest go around with the Bengals, and it seems like maybe he’s finally gotten his life turned around.

Henry spoke ESPN Radio over the weekend and did an interview with John Clayton and Freddie Coleman.

“Oh man, it’s been big,” said Henry, who’s engaged to be married and is the father of two sons and a daughter. “It taught me a lot. It kind of almost took my career away from me. I regret those things. I’m going to keep on moving on and not let anything like that happen again.”

“I keep it on my mind so I won’t get sidetracked again. As long as I keep that in the back of my head, I think I’m going to be fine. I want to be playing and let my kids see me out there. My family, that’s what counts the most.”

Carson Palmer has gushed over Henry and what he’s seen so far, and if he keeps up staying out of trouble, he could be on the verge of a huge year for the Bengals and their offense.
