New Safety Williams Feels He’s as Good as Ever

Bengals strong safety Roy Williams does not believe he has lost a step and still has confidence in his skills following his release by the Cowboys. Williams said, “You can still see I have not lost anything, I have not lost a step.” Defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer agrees that Williams is not on the decline, and believes he has been doing a great job adapting to the Bengals’ defense. He is showing that he can still cover receivers and tight ends, and will have a good chance to nail down the starting job at strong safety in training camp.
