Linebackers Rashad Jeanty and Brandon Johnson received qualifying tender offers from the Bengals on Thursday.

The moves allow the Bengals to retain the right to match any contract offers made to the restricted free agents. Cincinnati would receive a second-round draft choice if it failed to match an offer made to either player.

Jeanty started 13 games last season, ranking fourth on the team with 97 tackles. Johnson started nine games and finished second on the team with 112 tackles. He had 90 tackles in the games he started, leading the team during that span.
