Source: Team Has Intentions of Bringing Back Houshmandzadeh

From: Pro Football Weekly

In a tough season for the Bengals, WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh’s dependability has been a positive for a team that has needed all of the help on offense it could get. The 6-1, 199-pound Houshmandzadeh is on pace to exceed 108 catches for the second consecutive season, a remarkable feat for a receiver toiling for an offense that hasn’t been able to find its way throughout the campaign. One league personnel man, speaking on condition of anonymity, recently praised Houshmandzadeh’s competitiveness and work on short and intermediate routes in a lost season. On Dec. 1, Bengals owner Mike Brown indicated to the team’s official Web site and The Cincinnati Enquirer that the Bengals have talked with Houshmandzadeh’s representatives about bringing back the free-agent-to-be receiver but both sides “haven’t been able to reach ground that both of us accepted.”
