The Bengals have come to terms with veteran safety Mike Doss. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. A second-round pick by Indianapolis in 2003, Doss recorded six tackles in eight games with the Minnesota Vikings last season.
Doss’ best season was his rookie year, when he recorded 105 tackles with an interception and two forced fumbles in 15 games. The six-year veteran has 266 tackles and seven interceptions in 54 games with the Colts and Vikings. The Bengals also waived defensive end Josh Mallard and signed cornerback Marcus Brown to the practice squad.
