The Bengals have put safety Dexter Jackson on IR, ending what has been an injury filled season for the safety. Jackson has already missed most of 08 with a thumb injury. He was actually placed on IR with a hamstring injury. He had missed five of the teams eight games due to the thumb injury, and had come back for the last two games but got hurt in practice on Wednesday. The team signed veteran free agent Chris Crocker to take Jackson’s place on the roster. Crocker was released from the Dolphins roster back on October 21st.
