The Bengals head this Sunday for Dallas, taking on a talent-laden Cowboys club that experienced a wakeup call last week, losing to Washington for its first setback in four games.

Cincinnati will bring an 0-4 record into the featured late-afternoon doubleheader contest on CBS. Off to their worst start since 2002, the Bengals lost 20-12 last week to Cleveland, with QB Carson Palmer missing his first game since 2004, due to elbow soreness. Palmer looks to be a game-time decision for the Dallas game.

The Bengals are not conceding that 0-4 means a season scrapped. Their losses include one without Palmer and three others against teams with a combined record of 9-1.

“We’re not where we wanted to be, obviously,” Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said after the Cleveland loss. “But the only way to get out of it is to let the bad feeling go and work our tails off. We’ll be ready to go. This football team will be ready to play in Dallas. We’ll play better than we played last week (Sept. 21 at N.Y. Giants). And we’ll play better than we did this week.”
