Palmer Limited in Practice; Questionable for Sunday
Carson Palmer was limited in practice today, and is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys. Palmer didn’t play in the Bengals loss to the Browns Sunday due to what was described as a sore elbow. “Nothing’s changed. I’m preparing to play. I’m expecting to play,” Palmer said. “I’ll be a little bit limited in practice, but I’m getting as many reps as I can. It looks like it’s going to come down to a decision later in the week. It’s definitely getting better. It’s progressing day-to-day. I just cross my fingers and keep praying and hope it keeps progressing.” If Palmer can’t go, the QB role will go again to Ryan Fitzpatrick, who was awful to say the least against the Browns. Palmer said that there is no damaged ligaments or tendons in the elbow and surgery is not being considered.
