Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Jordan Palmer 

Add one more quarterback clamoring to be the backup behind Carson Palmer; the Cincinnati Bengals announced that they have signed Jordan Palmer – Carson’s brother – to a two-year contract on Wednesday.  The younger Palmer is one of 3 quarterbacks looking to land the backup job behind Palmer.

Palmer was taken by the Washington Redskins in the 6th round of last year’s draft but was waived after playing in only 2 series during the preseason; Palmer attended the University of Texas-El Paso, where he is the school’s all-time leader in passing yardage (11,084) and touchdowns (84).
