Henry Accused Of Incident In Newport

Henry

Newport Police are investigating a complaint against Bengals’ Receiver Chris Henry and another man. A parking attendant at Newport on the Levee claims Henry parked his car last night without paying and began to walk away. Henry allegedly became involved in a verbal confrontation, stating “(expletive) don’t you know who I am?”

The incident report states Henry threw a five dollar bill on the ground and said “you better pick that up (expletive).” Henry and another man then allegedly left, but returned, before being banned from the Levee by security. The complainant says the two men passed him on the way to the elevator, stating “(expletive) you better hope I don’t see you again.”

The offenses listed on the incident report are misdemeanors for harrassment and menacing. No official charges have been filed.  Henry recently returned to the active playing field after serving an eight game suspension for violating the leagues code of conduct policy.
