After fulfilling his eight-game suspension, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry was reinstated by the team on Sunday.  During the suspension - specifically October 24, when the NFL allowed Henry to resume on-field activities, he had been practicing with the Bengals.

In April, he was suspended by the league for the first-half of this season by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for his off-the-field problems.  He was arrested 4 times between December 2005 and June 2006 for several offenses: Henry pleaded guilty to serving alcohol to minors in his hotel room last spring.  His other offenses included marijuana possession, carrying a concealed weapon and a DUI charge.

For those offenses, Henry completed a drug rehabilitation program,  and served 100 hours of community service.  One would have to think that this would be Henry’s last chance to revive his career after all these legal troubles.  As a rookie back in 2005, Henry caught 31 passes for 422 yards and  6 TD’s; in 2006, he tied the team lead with 9 TD receptions while catching 36 receptions for 605 yards.
