Rudi Back at Practice; May Go Sunday in Buffalo

While it’s been a trying week for the Bengals after their 11-point loss to the Steelers on Sunday, the team is looking ahead to the Bills on Sunday in Western New York. Wednesday the team got some good news as running back Rudi Johnson was back at practice for the first time in a few weeks. Johnson has played in just foru games this season, starting three, and has rushed for just 185 yards on 62 carries, a 3.0 yards per carry average. Three weeks ago vs the Chiefs he ran 4 times for 8 yards, then did not play the last two weeks against the Jets and Steelers.
Not dressed for practice on Wednesday were defensive John Thornton (stinger), running back Kenny Watson (concussion) and defensive end Justin Smith (unknown). Running back Chris Perry (ankle) was not on the field, which means that he’s likely looking at another week on the PUP list.
