RB Perry Could Be Out Six Weeks; Joseph and Jones Recovering

Perry

With camp starting in just a few days, the Bengals appear to be in pretty good shape on the health side of things, but one player that likely won’t be on the field for awhile is running back Chris Perry.  The back is still trying to recover from surgery that repaired a dislocated right ankle.  Word is right now that Perry will miss the first six games of the season.  He may start the season on the PUP list, which means he won’t take a roster spot while he misses those games.  If he has to miss more than six, than he would either have to be activated or then placed on IR.  Cornerback Johnathan Joseph is another player that is coming off an injury.  He hurt his left foot in the teams first minicamp.  Levi Jones, the teams left tackle is also coming back from knee surgery. “I think we’ll be good and I think that both of those guys, Levi Jones and Johnathan Joseph, are mending well,” Marivn Lewis said in the Cincy Post Tuesday. “On Friday we’ll let you know a little more.”
